RICCARDO SANTOBONI
Riccardo Santoboni was born in Rome, Italy 1964. He has received degrees in Music Composition under the tutelage of Dr. A’Avalos, and in computer music with George Nottoli. Riccardo completed his Masters degree in composition at Accademia Musicale di S. Cecilia and in computer music at Accademia Musicale Chigiana. In addition, he has received degrees in orchestra, big band, and choir conducting, as well as a degree in Mathematics and the Science of Media. He is a winner of several international competitions in computer music and in musical composition. Riccardo Santoboni is a full professor in harmony, counterpoint, fugue and composition at Conservatorio di Musica of Bari, Italy. He also teaches Computer Music at the Accademia Musicale Pescarese. Dr. Santoboni is a professor of the masters program in acoustic and psychoacoustics of Sound Engineering at Rome UniversityTor Vergata. His activities balance that of composer and conductor of orchestras. He founded and conducts the Nabla Ensemble, that specializes in contemporary and multimedia music repertory. Since 2010 he is Professor of Computer Music at S. Cecilia Conservatorio of Music in Rome.
